The babbling at the Tower of Babel

Prologue:

I live during the time of the Tower of Babel, when God confused all of people by changing their languages. I have found a group of people that speak the same new language that you speak. Now my  group and I are ready to move.

As I fell to the ground, the bright light that had been next to the tower disappears.

I stand up, shaken.

I look around and see everyone else stand up,

‘Bala dinsha nata sa yara,’ says one of the builders walking towards me.

‘Pardon,’ I say surprised.

‘Nanlepara tanat,’ he continues.

Then someone walks over to see what all the surprised looks are about. It is Wendera.

‘Na lela saw,’ she says.

I stare at her, not sure what to say.

Then the builder starts talking to her and she blabbers back.

What is going on?

Then Quoto walks over,

‘What’s up?’ she asked me.

‘Oh thank god,’ I said, pleased that someone is talking to me.

Then Wendera and the Builder begin to shriek simultaneously,

‘Erota caradia!’

‘What’s wrong with them?’ asked Quoto.

‘I’ve no idea.’ I replied.

‘I think it’s the doing of God.’ says Mocarodea who was standing behind us.

‘I think you are right!’ says Quoto.

‘Well in that case let’s find the people who understand us and leave,’ I say and I walk off and they follow suit.

After we have gathered all the people that we understand we set off.

After what felt like a year of walking eating and sleeping we finally find a place that we all like,

There are not many trees but there was the crystal clear sea just in front of us.

We settled in and made it our home.

‘What could be lovelier,’ I sigh.
